Innotime Hungary became the Hungarian representative of Green Destinations
Green Destinations is one of three certification bodies recognized by the Global Sustainability Tourism Council and a founding member of the Future of Tourism Coalition, the world's largest sustainable tourism support program, which provides support for the creation of sustainable tourism in two areas:
- Destinations are assisted in developing and implementing their sustainability programs by the Green Destinations certification program and the annual TOP100 sustainable destination competition, which includes audits, trainings, workshops and a mentoring program.,
- The Good Travel Program is open to all tourism actors, and they can receive a certificate corresponding to their preparedness and services.
The organization currently works with 225 certified destinations, but its partners include more than 400 destinations from all over the world.
From October 2022, Green Destinations will be represented in Hungary by Innotime Hungary. Our company's experts have been dealing with sustainable tourism issues for years and have participated in the development and implementation of several network programs, the focus of which is the joint implementation of socio-economic and environmental sustainability.
Within our team, Nagy Júlia Managing Director and Adriány Csenge, who previously worked as an expert at Green Destinations, are available to those interested, who are available with audits, good practices, trainings, IT solutions, but are also happy to help with the preparation of sustainability strategies and the practical development of sustainable tourism programs. Innotime has already started working with several destinations, and the company's employees are also available for additional destinations and tourism service providers.
